I stopped by the gift shop on nhm.org they had a nice mix of stuff, especially if you’re looking for kids’ gifts or anything dinosaur-related. I ended up finding a few cute things that weren’t too expensive, so I didn’t feel bad about grabbing a little souvenir. Sure, some of the items were kind of the usual gift shop type of thing, but that’s also kind of what I expected. Overall it was easy to find something nice, and I’d shop there again...

I took the Metro and walked over, and it was super easy. Not having to worry about parking was a big plus. That said, if there’s any travel reimbursement or compensation offered, I’d expect that to be handled smoothly too.

I was excited for the animal encounters, but it ended up being kind of underwhelming. There was a lot of standing around, and when we finally got to see the animals up close, it was only a couple of them and it felt super quick. The staff we did interact with were nice, but the whole thing had this impersonal, almost “no real person really in charge” feeling to it. My kids lost interest after a while, which was disappointing. It wasn’t awful, just not really worth all the hype in my opinion.

The kids absolutely loved it, i had a great time too. We’ve tried a few similar things in the past that didn’t really hold their attention for long, but this one kept them happy and engaged. Definitely a win in our house

I’ve used this site a bunch of times and I’m kind of loyal to it, so I hate to complain too much, but the checkout was definitely slower than I expected. The good news is I still got my tickets quickly once everything went through, which is why I keep coming back. Just wish the checkout loaded a little faster.

I went on a busy weekend, so I expected crowds, but wow, it was really packed. To be fair, the lines moved better than I thought they would, and the staff did a good job keeping people moving. Some of the rooms felt way too tight with that many people, which got a little frustrating, but overall it was still a nice visit.

I went to one of the night events at NHM and had a good time. The setup was cool, and the staff were nice, which definitely helped. The drink lines got long, because apparently everyone needed a cocktail at the exact same time, and a few areas were a little too packed to fully enjoy. But overall, it was still a fun event and worth going to.

There were a lot of cool places to take photos, honestly. it did get kinda crowded though, so you might have to wait a bit for the better spots...

The museum was clean and tidy overall, which I appreciated. The bathrooms were okay too, though they were a bit busy when I went. Compared to some other museums I’ve visited, this one felt better maintained, even if the facilities could get a little crowded.

I checked out NHM before heading over, it made planning the visit straightforward. The information was clear enough that I knew what to expect, which was helpful and saved me a bit of last-minute guesswork.

The museum is in a very convenient location near Exposition Park, and taking the Metro there was easy. I was glad I didn’t have to deal with too much LA driving, because that can be a whole thing. Overall, it’s a nice option for a quick day out, especially if you’re already around USC or downtown.

i mean, I had a really good time overall. The exhibits were really nice, with plenty to look at, and the dinosaur hall was definitely my favorite part. A few areas felt kind of packed, and some displays could’ve used clearer signs, but the quality of everything was great. I’d absolutely go again, just probably not on such a busy day...

I really enjoyed walking around the outdoor grounds. There was a lot to look at, some peaceful little spots to relax, and it was nice for the kids too. I’m usually mindful of what we spend on outings, but this felt worth it and we didn’t feel rushed at all. I’d definitely come back again.

I was a little cautious about signing up at first because I didn’t want another membership I’d barely use, but this one has paid off. The free visits alone made it worth it after taking the kids a few times, and the shop discount was a nice bonus. It’s been easy to use and I feel like we’re actually getting our money’s worth.

I really wanted to like the experience, but the accessibility issues made it frustrating. I felt like I had to keep forcing myself to be patient just to get through basic things that should’ve been easier to use. It’s not terrible, but it definitely needs work

I showed up thinking they were still open, but they were already closed. The posted hours are confusing, it’s frustrating dealing with the same issue again.

I found parking right away, which was a nice surprise. Compared to other places nearby where I usually have to circle around for a while, this was super easy and stress-free.

I literally found what I was looking for fast, so the whole experience was quick and easy

We had a really nice visit. The cafe food was kinda better than I expected, and the wait wasn’t too bad at all. The toilets were clean, there were plenty of places to sit, and the signs were easy to follow. Overall, it made the day with the kids feel stress-free.

It was worth the ticket price. There’s always so much to look at in places like this, and we ended up spending most of the day there without feeling bored. If you’re going, I’d say just plan for a full day because these kinds of spots always take longer than you think.
